12th International Workshop on High Performance
Algorithmic convexity and applications
June 20 - 22, 2012, Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands
Modern mathematical optimization is firmly based on the interplay between convexity theory and algorithms. The scope of this workshop is to bring together researchers who work on recent trends and applications in convex optimization:
- Foundations of convex algebraic geometry.
- Solving large scale semidefinite programs.
- Applications in compressed sensing, combinatorial optimization, and quantum information theory.
One special aim of this workshop is to provide a podium for promising young researchers in the field. For this we organize a special young researchers session and tutorial lectures by Alexandre d'Aspremont on "Large scale semidefinite programming algorithms".
