The next episode will be in February and it will be on H. P. Lovecraft's "The Whisperer in Darkness."

New Episode - #24 - Lovecraft Country by Matt Ruff

posted Nov 12, 2017, 1:46 PM by Nicholas Diak   [ updated Dec 16, 2017, 1:21 PM ]

A new episode of the podcast was recorded and published today, this one on Matt Ruff's Lovecraft Country. It has been uploaded in both .mp3 and .wav form to archive.org which can be found here: https://archive.org/details/Episode24LovecraftCountryWAVVersion

Also, new to this episode, we have intro and outro music, composed by Marcel P. of Dungeon Studios. It's spooky and ominous - thank you sir! More info about his production work can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/DungeonStudioRhenania/

We're also going to get into the habit of uploading pictures of the books we read to compliment the audio. The picture of the Lovecraft Country books was done by Michele Brittany who also edited the episode in Garage Band.

HPlovecast.com Goes Live, New Episode

posted Sep 26, 2017, 10:57 PM by H.P. Lovecast   [ updated Dec 16, 2017, 1:21 PM by Nicholas Diak ]

Good evening!

After much tinkering, an official website for HPlovecast.com has gone live. Previously, this URL was directed to the H. P. Lovecast YouTube channel. However, as we see our movie from YouTube videos to audio videos, ie. true Podcasts, being hosted at archive.org, it has become a necessity to build a website to act as a hub for all of the H. P. Lovecast Podcast episodes, along with news and information about the Podcast. This website, a work in progress using the Google Sites medium, aims to fill that purpose.

This also means that with archive.org being the hosting of choice, the YouTube channel has now been made private and purely for the podcast to export to after recording in Google Hangouts. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Aside from the official Facebook page, news and upcoming episodes can be found by subscribing to this page's RSS feed. Simply click the subscribe button.

Earlier this month we recorded a new Podcast, discussing The Horror at Red Hook. This episode can be found here: https://archive.org/details/Episode23TheHorrorAtRedHook

The next episode will be our most ambitious yet: tackling the full-length novel, Lovecraft Country by Matt Ruff. We will be recording this episode October 22nd.

Thank you all for your support!
