If you forget your Apple Watch password

If your Apple Watch is turned off because you forgot your password or entered the wrong password many times, you can use How to Reset Apple Watch Password on your iPhone to allow you to re-enter your password. If you still can't remember your password, you can reset your Apple Watch, reset your password, and then restore your Apple Watch from a backup. Recovery deletes the contents and settings of your Apple Watch but uses backup to replace your data and settings.

How to reset Apple Watch with or without iPhone

Reset Apple Watch with iPhone

If you have an iPhone, your Apple Watch is paired, you can reset your drive in the Watch app.

    • Make sure your Watch is close to your iPhone Launch the Watch app

    • Slide down and select General

    • Slide down and click Restart

    • Select Watch to download Apple Watch content and Settings

    • Press E to double-click all content and settings to confirm

    • If you have an Apple Watch, you must choose to save or uninstall the app (you may still need to contact your carrier if you want to cancel it)

    • Go to Apple Watch Settings

    • Tap General:

    • Swipe down and click Restart

    • Click rase to download all content and settings

    • If you use a password, enter it when prompted

    • Slide down and select E sleep all or rase sleep all and save plan if you have a mobile watch

How to factory reset your Apple Watch on your iPhone

    • On your iPhone. Open the Watch app.

    • Tap General:

    • Scroll down, then click Restore

    • Click rase to download Apple Watch content and settings

    • Click rase to download all content and settings

Restarting the watch may in some cases take ten minutes or more, so be patient, leave it on the charger until it leaves your phone, and reset to factory settings. When done, you can pair it with your iPhone again.

How to turn off Apple Watch with the Watch app

    1. Go to the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.

    2. Click "All Clocks" at the top of the "My Clock" screen.

    3. Click the info button to the right of your current clock

    4. Select the Unpair Apple Watch.

    5. Confirm the process by clicking Unpair.

    6. If you have a mobile service, choose to save or remove your application.

    7. Turn off "Activation Lock" by entering your Apple ID password and clicking "Pig".

Your watch will now start backing up your latest watch data to your iPhone. When done, it will delete from your current iPhone, delete all active pairs of Bluetooth accessories, remove any Apple Pay card used in the Apple Watch, and clear the passcode. Finally, your watch will reset to Apple's factory settings

If you forgot your Apple Watch password and do not have an iPhone

If you are locked out of your Apple Watch and it is unlocked, however, without an iPhone, you can perform a hard reset. You can then restore it from the backup when paired with your iPhone.

    • Insert your Apple Watch into its charger

    • Hold the side button until the Power Off screen appears

    • Press the Power Off sled firmly (do not slide it)

    • Select rase to download all content settings

    • Your Apple Watch will be reset to factory settings. You can then pair it with your iPhone, restore from a backup, and install a new passcode

Restore it from iPhone

To reset the watch from the combined iPhone, click the Apple Watch app on the phone's home screen and select "General". Then scroll down to the bottom of the page, click Restore, and select rase to download all content and settings.

This will return the watch to its original state out of the box, unfortunately, this means that everything on it will also be deleted. The good news is that your iPhone automatically backs up the watch when it does not match using this method. When you are ready to pair it again, in the adjustment process simply choose to restore from backup.

Reinstall it on the watch

You can still reset the watch even if your iPhone is not with you, but you need a magnetic charging cable nearby. To get started, hold down the clock power button. Then apply Force Touch, which is a hard click on the Power Off option and select E's all content settings. At this point, you need to connect the watch to the charger, then confirm that you want to reset it.
