1. Introduction

These are resources to accompany  the workshop, 'How to Curate your own exhibition', in October 2017 at Ladywood Health and Community Centre 9th October and the Wholesale Memory Hub, 19th October.  The purpose of the workshop and resources are to provide individuals and groups with an introduction to curating an exhibition or display. We provide an introductory overview and a structured understanding of what’s involved in putting together an effective cultural  display or exhibition.

The workshops and resources are for people interested in developing their own cultural exhibition. We:
  • Explore processes in planning & developing cultural exhibitions
  • Look at recent exhibitions in Birmingham, like ‘Connecting Stories’ & ‘Wholesale Memories’
