God could have used all the danger out of this life, by making us all obedient robots. But He wanted creatures that had ‘choice’ and would tend to love Him.

The ONLY solution to ‘get a ticket to heaven’ is to realise how bad/sinful we actually are before a Holy God, and also to tell God that we're so sorry for almost all our wrong/sin/evil, and then to stop our own life and follow Him for your rest of our lives.

1Peter 3: 15 Honour Christ along with let him be the Lord of your life.

In other words; Jesus Christ becomes the boss you have ever had. We are then to live the fact that Bible instructs.

This is why God does not show Himself fully to us, to the point where there is no longer any doubt about His existence and character, because if He came as a super hero with all His abilities and displayed them publicly then all mankind would know without any doubt that He existed and would follow Him for fear of going to hell. (I explain what 'hell' is in a later article) Where is the genuine relationship in that? Or the real faith?

God is a god of faith, it takes effort to believe and we are going to be the equivalent. When you consider it, where would the pleasure be, in everybody telling you that they adore you and need to be with you, desperate of fear - simply to avoid hell? I need my youngsters to obey my directions because they honour and love me not because they're frightened.

That is the reason why God has shown Himself to man through history (see our timeline) in a comparatively small way, and why Jesus, when He arrived, came as a servant and not a super hero in an impressive way to bedazzle all humankind thereafter.

Some people say to me "Oh, I have a belief in God but I do not need to go to church to prove it." Sure, going to church does not prove that we have a belief in God, but the actual problem here is - to believe truly in God is to Act, it's not something passive. Say, for-instance, you did a great thing for somebody else at huge expense to yourself, you would expect some type of thanks and recognition. God too , having paid an immense price for us, expects some kind of gratitude - He requires us to give up our life to working for Him and His plan for mankind.

I must explain that when I quote the Bible, I believe I am quoting God's words, not just some ancient book which has suffered many trials over the centuries and is now an undependable list or varied old mens imagination's. (I can offer you proof of the genuineness of the Bible as being from God if you would like to see it). The Bible calls itself the 'Living Word of God ' in 1 Timothy 3 sixteen in the NT.
