Since my childhood, I have had a great deal of interest in inventing. However, for many years the only inventions I worked on were those I designed and built for my own use in building stained glass windows. In 1989, my interest was increased by my invention of a method of displaying text on a computer screen. My attempt to patent the invention failed because I lacked the knowledge to describe the invention in the manner preferred by the patent office and instead described the process in the manner most understandable by programmers. That method of displaying text was patented independently of me ten years later. I have since then realized that the method of determining the length of time each word is displayed could be improved. I am now seeking partners to develop this invention and to market it.
