With the best season on record going on at Houston Motorsports Park in 2012, the 3/8-mile high banked paved oval is already lining up sponsorship for the 2013 season.
Back for a second straight year with the truck series at HMP will be BWFS Industries LLC., as Owner, Joe Butcher and Houston Motorsports Park Vice President and General Manager, John Mandabach came to an agreement for 2013.
“HMP is very proud to have BWFS Industries renew their support for 2013,” Mandabach said. “Their support guarantees that the NASCAR truck racing at HMP will continue to grow and be stronger than ever next year.”
BWFS Industries LLC. and its owner Joe Butcher, have been key in keeping the purses high for truck racing at Houston Motorsports Park, and racers can count on that continuing in 2013.
“We're looking for exposure,” Butcher said. “The clientele at HMP is a great mix of folks associated with the energy and engineering pieces of our economy here in Houston. We want to be known by these people as BWFS Industries projects a positive image as a trustworthy company to do business with and a desirable place to work. If these are achieved, our money is well spent.”
BWFS Industries LLC. has proudly served the offshore oil and gas industries for over 20 years. The company has earned its reputation for excellence through a strong commitment to providing quality ASME Pressure Vessels, skid packages, engineering and professional project management.
Currently, BWFS Industries LLC is experiencing a growth, as the energy sector continues to grow.
“This should give our racers the confidence to know that NASCAR truck racing plays a key part of our racing program and will continue for many years to come,” Mandabach said. “Expect to hear more exciting news from HMP in the weeks to come about the NASCAR BWFS 360 Trucks, as well as our other NASCAR divisions.”
Butcher, who also loves to race, has made just one start this season in his familiar No. 17. But he also sponsors the No. 16 truck of Kyle Books, who is currently fifth in points with six races to go in the 2012 season.
Butcher also is involved in many charities that he hopes to continue to give money to through his two-truck team's racing this season.
“Some of you may have heard our promotions for local ministries in the Houston area that my wife Denise and I have been involved with down through the years,” Butcher said. “Hopefully, we'll be able to continue to donate some of funds generated through the racing efforts here at HMP, to what we consider to be very deserving organizations.”
HMP is a state of the art complex, situated in a park like setting inside Beltway 8, on the North-East side of Houston, only 20 minutes from downtown and 20 minutes from Bush Intercontinental Airport.
