Internships and Fellowships

Aside from research in lab, there are plenty of opportunities to learn new skills. Here are some of the resources available for postdocs at JHMI. If you have information about funding opportunities, please Submit Funding Information on our website.

Teaching Opportunities

JHPDA and the Professional Development Office and Notre Dame have collaborated to offer unique opportunities for JHMI SOM and PH postdocs:

Three postdocs are selected as Instructional Associates (IAs) to work with faculty at Notre Dame of University of Maryland in the Spring semester. IA’s will make presentations to undergraduates in an Introductory Biology course. The program will include orientation, preparation and evaluation. Estimated total time commitment is 15-20 hours, late afternoon-early evening, during the 2012 spring semester. IA’s will receive a small honorarium. Deadline for Spring 2013 will be in December 2012.

The 2012 Instructional Associates are:
William Brandt, Sam Das, and Melissa Fowler. Congratulations!
