Postdoc Symposium 2013

All postdocs are welcome to submit their research to the 2013 JHPDA Postdoc Scientific Symposium! Please contact postdoc@jhmi.edu if you have additional questions.

    • 2:30pm - 4:00pm: Feldon Hall (SPH E2014): Poster Presentations + Refreshments
    • 4:00pm - 5:00pm: Sommer Hall (SPH E2030): Keynote Presentation by Dr. Gregory Ball, the Vice Dean of Science Research and Infrastructure at Johns Hopkins University


Prizes

Research Awards

All poster presentations will be judged and prizes awarded to the top posters in each category. These prizes consist of Google Tablets and Amazon gift cards. Poster presenters must be present at the symposium on 18th June 2013 to be eligible for an award or to receive a prize. 

Peer Choice and Participant Awards

We have two types of randomly-selected participant awards: one for abstract authors, and one for pre-registrants. For the Peer Choice Award, everyone present at the symposium can also vote for their favorite poster. Participants must be present at the keynote presentation in order to receive these prizes. 

Pre-Register for the Symposium

Note that we will be randomly selecting a pre-registrant to receive a participant award! Participants must be present at the keynote presentation in order to receive a prize.

Submit an Abstract

All School of Medicine, School of Nursing and School of Public Health Postdocs are eligible to submit an abstract (using the form below). A limited number of poster presentation slots are available and will be assigned based on the order received. Successful submissions will be notified via email no later than June 10th, 2013. 

You may re-use a poster submitted to a recent conference/workshop (there are no specific poster guidelines).
