Hopkins Dance Club is an organization for members of the JHU community who share a love of dancing. The club promotes various types of partner-style and social dances (Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Swing, Tango, Country Line Dancing, Contra and Square Dancing, Hip Hop, Breakdancing and more)! We organize group lessons, workshops and social dancing events on the Medical and Homewood campuses. We also host group outings to local dancing clubs and studios. Our goal is to provide a friendly forum for meeting new people and socializing with friends while learning fun and exciting new dances. Most of our events are oriented towards beginners with little to no experience and there is no partner required to participate. Occasionally, if there is enough demand, we will organize an advanced lesson series. Our activities are mainly geared towards (and always free for) graduate students, but anyone is welcome to participate!
