Hope 2008

Local Churches joined together to spread the good news and express 'random acts of kindness' under the banner of Hope 2008.
A major outreach event took place at St Nicolas Hall, the Vista in Spalding on Easter Saturday 23 March 2008; a multi media event for all ages, with a live worship band, focused on the real meaning of Easter.

Godfrey Birtill contributed to HOPE in Spalding, along with Blutree at the South Holland Centre on 21 November 2008.

It was a busy year for CTSD - active in the community throughout 2008,  including litter picking, train station garden makeover, a Party in the Park at Ayscoughfee and largest event of its kind held in Spalding - HopeFest at Sir Halley Stewart field.

Prayer Meetings were held on the first day of each month - continuing through the sixtieth anniversary in 2014 and beyond.  During Hope 2008 there were Prayer Walks around Spalding.
