Cherry Kuga

1 cup sugar

1 tsp. baking powder

1 stick butter - if using unsalted butter, add just a pinch of salt into the mixture

2 cups flour


Work together until crumbly.  Take 1 cup crumbs out for topping.  Add 3/4 cup milk to the remaining crumbs.

Spread in pan and cover with one can cherry pie filling.  Then top with 1 cup of reserved crumbs. 

Bake for 30 minutes at 375 degrees.
