In Loving Memory
Linda Sue Anderson
5/18/1949 - 5/5/2010...

Mulhearn Funeral Home
Sterlington Road, Monroe

The funeral service for Linda Sue Anderson will be 10:00 am Saturday, May 8, 2010, at New Chapel Hill Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA. Services will be conducted by Rev. Tuck Roberts, assisted by Rev. Charles Dupree. Interment will follow at New Chapel Hill Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Linda Sue Anderson of Wilhite, Louisiana went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 5, 2010, after a 17 ½ year battle with Multiple Myeloma. The Lord cured her of her cancer when he took her home to Heaven.

Linda Sue was a very successful wife and mother. Always putting her family first. She was Co-founder of Cowboy Trailers. Linda Sue was the bravest and strongest person ever, always concerned with other people’s problems instead of her own. Her accomplishments were many. Linda Sue was a member of New Chapel Hill Baptist Church.

Linda Sue leaves to cherish her memory: her husband of almost 43 years, Roy Martin Anderson; three sons and their wives: Hank & Diane Anderson, Brian Keith & Cheryl Anderson, and Jeffery Glenn & Brandi Anderson; six grandchildren: Martin Anderson, Hunter Anderson, Colt Anderson, Kealee Sue Anderson, Brooke Lynn Anderson, and Breanna Anderson; sister, Mary Francis Young; brother, John Luther Jones; special sister-in-law (of the same name), Linda Jean Anderson; and a multitude of friends and love ones. Linda Sue never met a stranger.

Pallbearers: Jeffrey Williams, Alan Breithaupt, Brian Rogers, Cary Tarver, Denious Jacobson, and Joby Jones.

Visitation will be Friday, May 7, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA.

The family wishes to express a special thanks to Dr. Bart Barlogie and staff at the Myeloma Institute in Little Rock, Arkansas; also to all the wonderful nurses and employees for the wonderful care and friendship for many years. Their kindness will always be remembered and appreciated.

Donations can be made in Linda Sue’s name to The Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy @ 4301 W, Markham St. / slot #816 Little Rock, Arkansas 72205 or the Gideon Memorial Bible Fund c/o Larry Hogue, 114 Arlington Place, West Monroe, Louisiana 71291 to be used for purchase of bibles.

Roy Martin, when I received the news of Linda's departure from this world my thought have been with you and your family. I cannot imagine the emptiness you may feel with her absence. You and she have walked a long and dusty road together for so long. How she was blessed to have had you in her life and I am certain it went both ways. Eddie and I were not able to come to Monroe on Saturday. I am so very sorry. The Shining Light for those who die (and for those left with such unspoken grief in the hearts) that live with the Lord Jesus Christ tucked ever so close, for they only sleep. They have started their trip before we that are left. How I would have wanted to be there but due to circumstances out of my control, I could not. Just know I send much love your way and will check on you from time to time just to let you know I am thinking of you. Take good care of yourself as Linda Sue would want you to do. All my love, Fran

Roy and Family: We are inspired to continue to carry Linda's torch in our own battle with multiple myeloma. She told us all that each new day is worth every visit to UAMS for treatment. Thank you, Linda, for being an example for all of us in our journey and living with multiple myeloma.
