I am the Co-founder and CTO of Roceso Technologies. Established in 2016, Roceso Technologies is the global leader in soft robotics, dedicated to restoring independence and dignity to people's lives. Our soft robotic solutions offer functional assistance to patients with motor impairments, aiding their rehabilitation and daily activities. Our inaugural product, the EsoGLOVE, is amongst the globe's lightest hand rehabilitation and exoskeleton devices, providing exceptional functionality and comfort.

I received my Ph.D. degree from the National University of Singapore in 2017. Since then, I have been integral in transitioning the EsoGLOVE project from a university research initiative to a commercially viable product. The research project has garnered more than 1.5 million in funding to support technology development and clinical trials. As the inventor of this technology, I have authored over 22 scientific publications and am the recipient of numerous accolades, including the Tan Kah Kee Young Inventors' Award, the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) Prestigious Engineering Achievement Awards, and the BES-SEC Design Award (Gold). Our work has been highlighted in domestic and international media outlets such as The Straits Times, Discovery Channel Canada, and Govtech. Furthermore, I hold three patents, two of which have been licensed to Roceso Technologies.

Roceso Technologies has experienced swift growth through successfully transitioning research from the lab into a viable product that enhances people's lives. We established a robust quality management system and attained ISO13485:2016 certification in early 2018. The EsoGLOVE Hand Rehabilitation System is registered with the FDA, and approved by EU CE, Singapore HSA, Japan FDA, Korea MFDS, Malaysia MDA, and Australia TGA.
