SWARNODEEP HOMROY

Father. Avid Reader. Wife-Certified Chef. Economist

I was born in Calcutta and raised on a healthy diet of Tagore, Ray, rosogollas, single malts, and siestas. Tried my hand at writing fiction, understanding harmonic oscillators, playing cricket, and designing performance management systems.

Obviously, failed at all of them.

Nowadays, I struggle to keep up with my 8-year-old and the never-ending news cycle. I do research at the intersection of political economy and corporate finance for my day job. I am also an Associate Editor of Applied Economics and PLOS ONE.

My updated CV can be found here.
