Homin Park is currently a Research Fellow at BIGHEART in National University of Singapore (NUS). He received the Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Engineering from the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST), Korea in 2016, and the B.S. degree in Computing and Software Systems from University of Washington, USA in 2010. He jointly conducted numerous projects with University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), University of Virginia, Hanyang University, South Dakota State University, Hyundai Motors, and Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI). His current research interests are in human activity and behavior inferencing and tracking systems exploiting mobile and wearable sensors. These works actively employ deep convolutional neural networks (CNN), recurrent neural networks (RNN), generative adversarial networks (GAN), multi-task learning frameworks, and various machine learning, data science, and HCI techniques.
