Welcome!! সুস্বাগতম!! स्वागतम्!! Willkommen!!
Hi, I am currently a Ph.D. student at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, Saarbrücken, Germany and work in the Databases and Information Systems group under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Gerhard Weikum.
My research interests broadly span
Databases, Data Mining, Data Streams, Information Retrieval, and Natural Language Processing.
At present, I am exploring novel approaches for faster and scalable Knowledge Harvesting & Storage. Specifically, named-entity co-reference resolution and linking, language models for spam detection, and efficient storage of Knowledge Graphs for faster query performance form my present focus of research.
I am also actively involved with various other related research problems pertaining to data de-duplication, data compression, indexing, and data analytics.
I have also worked on High Performance Analytics, primarily exploring problems related to Data Stream Mining, and Indexing and Caching Techniques for video-on-demand and multimedia service delivery to mobile users.
I had also worked in the domain of Cloud Computing for developing approaches for efficient placement and scaling of virtual machines (VM) to offer enhanced Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS).
