Love, Life and Hope at Easter

posted 11 Apr 2017, 01:47 by John Goldring   [ updated 11 Apr 2017, 01:47 ]

You'll have heard it said that things are not always as they seem. Love is more powerful than hate; life is more powerful than death; good is more powerful than evil; hope is more powerful than fear.

These statements are at the heart of the meaning of Easter when Christians celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus. The belief that Jesus is alive brings hope and a confidence in God that ultimately love will win*.

We invite you to join us at any of our services over Easter and on any Sunday throughout the year.

With Easter greetings from all at Holy Trinity Church.

Revd Pippa Goldring
Associate Minister
