Place of Welcome

Holy Trinity has joined 'Places of Welcome' - a network of small community organisations who offer an unconditional welcome to local people for at least a few hours each week, every week of the year. It's a place where all people feel safe to belong, connect and contribute. After prayer and discussion our Parochial Church Council decided we should apply to join the network, and we have now been officially accepted.

The Place of Welcome offers a friendly and accessible place where everyone can receive a welcome, the chance to chat if they wish and free refreshments.

Our new Place of Welcome builds on Open Church which has been running for many years. It will open at the same place and time as Open Church - in the church on Saturday mornings from 10.30am to 12.30pm. The main difference is that it will open every Saturday through
the year. This, and the new name, send out a positive message of welcome into our community.

Make a note of the launch date: Saturday 4th March, look out for the publicity and let your friends know. The Place of Welcome is open to all.

There are 15 other Places of Welcome around Wolverhampton meeting on different days and times. See the Places of Welcome website for full details and more about the network.
