Eucharistic Adoration

Eucharistic Adoration began in March of 1998 as a joint effort by parishioners of St. Mary’s and Holy Angels’. It continues to be a joint effort with people participating from surrounding parishes. We begin on Sunday evening at 6 PM and conclude on Friday at 5 PM. It takes place in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel in Holy Angels Church. Someone is in the chapel praying for one hour during all this time, day and night. The Church and the whole world have a great need for God– for the Eucharistic Adoration. It can bring peace to our troubled lives, relationships, and world. Day and night Jesus dwells in the Blessed Sacrament because of His infinite love for each one of us. God gives each one of us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Could you spare one hour a week with Him? There is always a time available to fit your schedule.

Over the many years that we have had Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, many people have come to pray before Jesus, Our Lord and Savior. Many have found strength and comfort in their lives by their visits. We believe that Jesus loves us so much that He dwells with us day and night in the Blessed Sacrament. Perpetual Adoration is simply our response to His love by spending a quiet hour on a regular basis with the Lord.
