IN

MR. HOLTON’S CLASSROOM

**ALL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO USE THE TECHNOLOGY, NO EXCEPTIONS.**

The purpose of using the netbooks is to teach students valuable technology skills that they can use not only while in high school and college, but in any future employment opportunity.


You must (Some apply only to Eng I students):
  1. bring your netbook to class each day.
  2. be in your seat and logging on when the bell rings.
  3. know your usernames and passwords.
  4. check the class website for updated information at the start of the class period.
  5. check your email at the start of the class period and at the end of the school day.
  6. send professional and respectful Emails.
  7. know whether an assignment is to be turned in on paper or digitally.  If it is submitted incorrectly you will receive a 0 until the problem is fixed.
  8. first attempt to solve problems (tech or other) on your own before asking me for help (Three before ME).
  9. label all files with your name, the assignment, and your class period.
10.  not blame technology for unfinished work.

Otherwise, there will be an appropriate punishment (ie. loss of privileges, detention, etc).
