Project News

The Understanding the Holocaust Project is designed to be used as a learning tool for schools and teachers to help their students better understand the tragic events of the Holocaust.  By tapping into students' 21st Century skill set, this project will give students a "minds-eye" view of the streets of Amsterdam 1942 where Anne Frank secretly writes a diary from hiding.

Project Motivation

This video was created to highlight that while this is a very technology driven project, at its core is the much deeper implications of the tragic circumstances of the Holocaust.

The Understanding the Holocaust Video Promotion

This video was created with the great help of Sophie Dopheide from the Netherlands who lent her powerful narration.  Also, Kevin MacLeod has been a wonderful source of fantastic music backgrounds.  His music captures so much of this project.
