*NOT REFLECTED IN THESE NUMBERS: Amherst ratified their contract for 2011-2012, which includes all teachers moving up two steps to make up for the 2009-2010 year without a contract PLUS a 1.2% raise.  In 2012-2013 teachers will receive a step raise PLUS 2%.

**This number can vary due to the experience levels of the teaching staff. A staff with a larger number of teachers on early steps can lower the overall average, and an experienced staff will raise the average.

Pay Comparisons: The average pay figures were acquired from each school district’s current contract agreement.
