What do we mean by holistic learning? 
Long-lasting learning happens naturally when individuals feel invested in a topic and can contribute to their own growth. Learner-centered experiences are all the rage, but how can we customize education in classes with 30, 50, or even hundreds of students? How do we capture interest and ignite imagination? How do we help students conceptualize applying lessons learned today to tomorrow's challenges? Leveraging technology affords us unique opportunities to reach students in ways not even imaginable 30 years ago in an environment most find very accessible. The educator's role has shifted from "sage on the stage" to "partner in crime1" and we must rise to the challenge.
