LC 2015 INFO & ENTRY

The event is held under the General Regulations of the MSA (incorporating the provisions of the International Sporting Code of the F.I.A.) and the Supplementary Regulations (including Honda Cadet Clubman regulations). 
 
Tyres
  • Tyres for the London Cup will not be allocated or controlled
 
Classes, Grids and Qualifying
  • Classes for the London Cup are : Bambioe, Iame, Honda Cadet, Honda Clubman Cadet, MiniMax, Junior X30, Senior X30,Junior Rotax, Senior Rotax, Rotax 177.
  • The maximum size of grids will be 28 (Bambino : 14)
  • All classes (except Bambino, which will run to its standard format)  will have Timed Qualifying, two heats and a final. Positions in each will be based on the grid points system of zero for first or pole
  • Starting positions in each Heat and the Final will be based on the ascending cumulative grid points of each driver, so that the those with the lowest will be nearer the front of the grid.
  • Honda Clubman Cadet, a competitor can enter both Honda Clubman and Honda Cadet (with a separate or same chassis / engines)  buy back price is £575. Multiple bids are accepted and will be drawn by the CoC. Names of bidders on engines will be available in race control. If there are sufficient numbers entering both Honda then the running order will be such so as to assist the entrants. Entrants participating in both should complete two entry forms.
  • All cadet races will be standing starts

Parking at The London Cup
  • All spectator parking and team member parking is to be in the Speedway car park 
  • If you are dropping off equipment or people then you have fifteen minutes to do so.
  • A policy maybe enforced whereby you will have to leave £20 on the way in and collect it on the way out so as to encourage sticking to the fifteen minute rule.
  • Trailers, vans, vehicles that are being worked out of are to be confined to pit bays only.
  • Parking will be available in advance as a preorder at £10
  • Vehicles blocking the emergency access lane to the circuit will be removed and the associated entrant being excluded
  • Vehicles blocking the access lanes around the circuit will also result in exclusion (access is required not just for emergency vehicles as needed but for fellow entrants to move about the paddock and get to the grid)

Pitbays
  • All available pit bays will be allocated to entrants to maximise the available space.
  • This includes all areas around the circuit. 
  • Entrants will receive an allocation from the club of one 3m x 4m bay.
  • Entrants wishing to reserve a bay will be charged £20 per bay
  • For the avoidance of doubt teams should reserve the space for the awning that they need to avoid not being able to have sufficient space.
  • Awnings set up in unallocated space or before the Thursday before the London Cup practice risk being removed by the circuit owners.

Race Formats
  • All classes (except Bambino) will have timed practice (what used to be known as "timed qualifying"
  • All cadet classes will have standing starts.
  • Bambino will be standard format and limited to 14 on track with racing carried out on the Saturday
  • Other classes racing will comprise of:
    • Saturday:
      • Timed Practice, which sets position in
      • Heat 1, which sets position in
      • Heat 2, which sets position in
    • Sunday
      • Heat 3, which sets position in
      • Pre Final, the cumulative performance will set position in the 
      • Final
