I have always been fascinated by how new technologies transform the way people work, create, and solve problems. This interest led me to pursue a Ph.D. and become a professor in management information systems. My recent research focuses on information strategy for digital innovation and governance. Specifically, I am particularly interested in
Technology-Enabled Innovation and Problem Solving: how information technologies and systems (e.g., AI and digital platforms) enable innovations and problem-solving, and
Information Governance, Risk, and Responsibility: information strategies for governance, particularly those related to risk and responsibility.
My work has been published in top journals, including Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems, MIS Quarterly, Management Science, and Production and Operations Management. I also serve as an Associate Editor for the Decision Sciences Journal.
