Rotary Club of Hobart Art Show 2017

The 2017 Art Show was held on 4th - 6th August, 2017   
at the Wrest Point Convention Centre.

The Show provides artists with an excellent opportunity to exhibit and sell their works and caters for new artists as well as established ones.  Their participation also helps the Rotary Club of Hobart each year to raise over $13,000 surplus to be applied to the club’s charitable works. 

A summary of the 2017 Rotary Club of Hobart Art Show is-



·        Around 700 people viewed the exhibition, plus 100 who attended opening night.


·        350 works were displayed by 100 artists


·       13 organisations sponsored the show, 6 supporters provided discounted or free services, 16 artists and organisations donated works to the auction and raffle.


·        Surplus to the club was approx. $13000 which goes into our charitable funding account for use in supporting the range of causes we receive requests from each year.
