The event raised $36,000.

The Rotary Charity Sail Day has become a favourite annual event for the Tasmanian business community, boat owners and skippers. Held annually for over 20 years, Sail Day has raised in excess of $800,000 and remains one of Tasmania's largest and most sought after sailing and fundraising events of this type.

Sail Day is hosted by the Rotary Club of Hobart with generous support from the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania. Their members, together with members of the Derwent Sailing Squadron, Bellerive Yacht Club and the Motor Yacht Club of Tasmania generously donate their yachts and crew for the day to make the whole event possible. We are most grateful for their support.

Community has been a fundamental part of the Art Show from its inception 24 years ago.  Artists from across the Tasmanian community are invited, and encouraged, to exhibit their work.  Local businesses give financial assistance through sponsorship and in-kind support.

Members of the Club volunteer to host the event and manage the behind-the-scenes work before, during and after the event.

Sponsors for the event in 2014 were RACT and Wrest Point.

The 2014 Art Show, held in August raised over $22,000.

The 2015 Art Show will be held at Wrest Point August 7th - August 9th, 2015.  Entry details will be sent to the Art Show mailing list later in April.
