Sunday Gravy

Cooking time 1-4 Hours  Serves: 4
 
EVOO
3 Garlic Cloves sliced
1 28oz can crushed tomatoes
1 28 0z can whole tomatoes
S&P
1/3 cup white wine
1 handful basil, chopped
 
In a heavy sided skillet, heat evoo and cook garlic until fragrant.  Add crushed tomatoes and juice from whole tomatoes.  Crush whole tomatoes with hands or potato mashed in skillet.  Season with S&P.  Add wine and lower heat to a simmer.  Stir Occsaionaly tasting for seasoning.  Add Basil and serve.
