Dr. Hongkeun Kim

Hello, my name is Hongkeun Kim. I completed my neuropsychology studies at the University of Chicago, earning a PhD in 1989, followed by postdoctoral research at the University of Toledo. From 1992 to 2024, I served as a professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Psychology at Daegu University in South Korea, where I specialized in neuropsychology and associated disciplines. Now a Professor Emeritus, I continue to advance research projects within this field.

Neuropsychology investigates the neural basis of cognitive processes. My research encompasses clinical neuropsychology and cognitive neuroscience, focusing on areas such as hemispheric specialization, memory functions, neuropsychological testing, and functional neuroimaging.
