In Brief

I am an applied economist and data scientist, and Professor of Business Analytics in the College of Business at the University of Central Florida. This position was created as a result of a recent strategic hiring initiative by UCF to fulfill a critical role in delivering courses in business analytics.

After initial appointments at the University of British Columbia and the University of Western Ontario, I held the position of Professor of Economics and Robert Jensen Research Fellow in the Henry B. Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa and subsequently Chair in Economics at the University of Melbourne, where I remained a principal fellow until 2019. From 2011 to 2014, I was employed as a principal economist at in Seattle.
