Christianity came to Ethiopia just after the church in Jerusalem was baptized in he Holy Spirit and the power of the Holy Spirit gave boldness and utterence to the disciples to preach the gospel. In the New Testament book of the Acts of the Apostles(Acts 8:26-40)we learn the conversion from Judaism to Christianity of the Ethiopian eunuch, court official of the Ethiopian Queen Candace.
