Would You Like To Help Make Hi-Point Retreat Center A Reality?
Ways That You Can Help...
Planned and Deferred Gifts:
Trust were once considered a financial-planning tool only for the very wealthy. Today financial planning seminars point to the advantage of trusts for people of even modest means. Trusts, annuities, and bequests are some of the ways to give a deferred gift. You may wish to make a significant gift to Hi-Point Retreat Center, but hesitate out of concern that you will need the funds for other purposes. Through planned or deferred gifts, you need not choose between charitable giving and not giving. You can make a gift that benefits Hi-Point Retreat Center while still providing for yourself or a family member. In short, you can make a significant gift without sacrificing other financial needs.
There are different types of trusts and annuities that can be customized to your specific financial requirements. Contact Joe or Kathy Narens if you would like to know more about this gift opportunity.
Current Gifts:
Current Gifts differ from Deferred Gifts in that the giver receives an immediate charitable contribution deduction that reduces federal income taxes in exchange for giving up rights to donated property. This property, for example, can be in the form of cash, tangible personal property, appreciated property such as, stocks or bonds or real estate.
Smaller Gifts:
"Gifts provide the seed, from that seed grows our strength and effectiveness as a Retreat Center. For the extraordinary generosity of our friends who have sown the seed, we are grateful - you make it possible for people to find here a life of prayer, to experience God." Volunteer:
The effective work of Hi-Point Retreat Center depends on dedicated group of volunteers. If you would like to become part of the loyal Friends of Hi-Point Retreat Center, we would be delighted to hear from you. Your commitment of a few hours a week is of great value to us.
