HILL PTO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the Hill PTO and who can participate?

The PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is comprised of parents, school administrators, and
teachers working together to enrich the educational environment at Hill Elementary. Any
parent, legal guardian or family member of a student at Hill Elementary School can participate.

How do I join?

If you have a child at Hill Elementary, you are already a member. All you have to do is be
willing to take an active role in your child's education and come to the meetings.

How much does it cost?

Absolutely nothing!

When do you meet?

The PTO meets every other month. All parents/grandparents/aunts/uncles/etc. are invited to attend.

Can I make a cash contribution rather than participate in a fundraiser?

The answer is YES! We know it isn’t possible for everyone to participate and actually a cash
donation is always appreciated because 100% of each donation benefits the PTO rather than
a percentage from the fundraisers. If you would like to do so, we ask that you send a check
payable to the Hill PTO and send it to school in a sealed envelope. Thank you for your support!
