Conference Staff‎ > ‎

Dear Faculty and Staff,

On behalf of the Methodist University Model United Nations Club, it is my distinct honor to invite your school to the 2nd annual Methodist University High School Model United Nations Conference. This year’s conference is scheduled for April 14 through 15, 2012.

This year’s High School Model United Nations conference will solely focus on the role of the United Nations. As such, all of the committees selected for this conference are important current functional bodies of the United Nations.

This year’s mission of the High School Model United Nations conference is to raise delegates’ awareness on such issues as tensions between countries and how this might affect other countries, to inform students on the nature and effects of the war on terrorism, and to allow students learn how the world governments and the United Nations respond to Natural Disasters around the world.  Students attending this conference will strengthen their skills on public speaking, conflict resolution, research, debating, diplomacy, critical thinking, team work, and leadership that are required in any business, leadership, government, and student governments in both high schools and colleges.

For more information about the HS-MUNC, visit us on and or send an email t0  I will reply you as soon as possible.

We look forward to working with you as you prepare for this conference. Let us know if your institution is attending.
