Dallas Mount - UW Extension Educator - Dallas Mount had served the Southeast Area of Wyoming as a Livestock Systems Extension Educator with the University of Wyoming since 2001.  Dallas’ background includes ranch work in the cow-calf, yearling, feedlot and hay production segments.  He received both his bachelor’s and master degrees from Colorado State University.  His passions include teaching profit and resource focused ranch management workshops where he constantly learns from innovative ranchers.  Dallas co-developed the High Plains Ranch Practicum School, an eight-day systems-based ranch management school focused on economics, range and forage, production and people.  Dallas and his family operate a Management-intensive grazing operation near Wheatland, WY.
 

Aaron Berger – Nebraska Extension Educator – Aaron Berger had served the southern Nebraska Panhandle as a Beef Systems Extension Educator since 2004.  Aaron grew up on a seed stock operation, and has worked in seed stock, cow-calf, yearling, and feedlot production segments.  He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska and his master’s degree from Colorado State University.  His passion is to provide clients resources and experiences that will help them meet their personal and business goals related to forage and cattle management. Aaron co-developed the High Plains Ranch Practicum School, an eight-day systems-based ranch management school focused on economics, range and forage, production and people.  Aaron and his family live near Kimball, Nebraska.

We also ask alumni ranchers from the program to come and share the application of the principles discussed.  Participants can quiz the ranchers on the application of these principles in the real world and learn from their successes and struggles.
