Art Walk & Auction

Both an Event and a Fundraiser, the Art Walk and Auction is an all encompassing event that shares the community's love for Art. It is a really fun event to help put together or to simply attend.

We need volunteers to put on this wonderful family art celebration. Volunteer for a shift at the Auction Bank, sell food tickets, kitchen help, set up from 2-5 p.m. and clean up after the event at 8:30 p.m.. Please fill out the form available here online or email Dean Weller at  Middle and high School students can help at the craft stations for service hours!

Highland Terrace’s much anticipated PTA spring Art Walk and Auction is scheduled for Friday, May 16, 2014. We are celebrating “Dreams…A Magical Journey Through Art” all around our school! Student art is the showcase of the evening with every student selecting a favorite art piece created during the year that is displayed in our Student Art Gallery. The evening also features entertainment, fabulous crafts stations, dinner, "Cookies for Camp" bake sale, and a silent auction. 

Doesn't that inspire you to join our planning team? We need volunteers to help with the crafts, "cafe", the student Art Gallery, Auction, and other tasks. Contact Suzanne Gugger at for information. Come celebrate the creativity and inspiration of our students at the annual Highland Terrace art celebration and auction. This year's theme is "DreamsA Magical Journey Through Art".  Walk through the student art gallery, make something special at the array of craft tables, enjoy a light pizza/salad dinner and delicious bake sale goodies, and bid on the many items available at the silent auction while enjoying the music of the Marimba Band.  It will be a night to remember for the whole family.  

We need your help to make this year’s event a success. 

Fostering a lifelong love of the arts is an important part of Highland Terrace PTA’s mission.  The funds raised at this event directly support the ceramics and clay program, art supply kits, guest authors, library materials, scholarships, the Fall Fun event and other PTA programs.  Mark your calendars and be sure to join us for this annual spring event.

If you -- or your business -- would like to donate an item or service for the silent auction, please complete and return the donation form below to the school office by Friday, May 9th. Not sure what to donate?  It’s easy:  tickets to sporting or music events… gift certificates… coffee table books… babysitting services….your vacation home in Italy… use your imagination!
