On firing up the unit it was apparent that there was a step up in sound quality over the std unit. Bass is deeper and more natural and also more textured allowing you to hear more of what is going on in the mix and allowing one to hear subtle details which have been previously hidden, its like a veil has been lifted from the sound. There is no hint of any digital glare in fact this is the most "analogue" my system has sounded using a digital front end.

I have only got a few hours listening under my belt but I will be keeping the modded unit.
