Hamilton Elementary School is located in the Northwest section of Alabama.  Hamilton is the county seat of Marion County, with a population of approximately 6,885.  It is the largest city in Marion County. With the opening of I-22, Hamilton is easily accessible to Florence, AL and Tupelo, MS. For more information about Hamilton, visit www.hamiltoncityal.org.

Hamilton Elementary houses students K-4 and a special needs preschool program.  We have between 650 - 700 students. There are nine kindergarten classes; eight first grade classes; seven second grade classes; seven third grade classes; and six fourth grade classes.  We have two computer labs, a large renovated cafeteria, a full-sized gym/auditorium, and a well-equipped library. We are a Southern Association of Schools accredited school. The original structure was built in 1982, with several later additions.
