Karen Kliegman is a NYS certified library media and educational technology specialist at Searingtown School. Karen has a master's degree in Library and Information Science and a master's degree in educational technology. Karen is also an adjunct instructor at C.W. Post for the Educational Technology and Palmer School of Information Science departments. She has been the recipient of many awards, most recently, Nassau BOCES School Library System's "School Librarian of the Year. She has received the SIGMedia Technology Innovation Award from ISTE, and is a frequent library/educational technology presenter and professional development instructor. She is the author of the Wired Librarian Blog, which was recently named the #1 Best Blog for Librarians of the Future. Karen is also a Google Certified Teacher and multiple grant winner.
