The Heritage League of Lincoln, Nebraska

The Heritage League is organized and is operated exclusively for charitable purposes.  The Holiday of Trees is its principal fund raiser.  (See Holiday of Trees page for current information.)

The ticket sale recipient from the December, 2018, Holiday of Trees was  Operation Veterans Encouraging Recovery (OVER).  OVER operates housing in central Lincoln for veterans with addiction problems or homelessness.  It is a 501(C)3 organization that works closely with the VA to promote recovery.

The 2019 Holiday of Trees will be December 5 and 6.  The ticket sale recipient will be the LMTA Music Outreach Program.  The Lincoln Music Teachers Association offers free or reduced price music lessons to "at risk" and needy children.  The program serves a maximum of 50 students who study piano, voice, violin, viola, and guitar. Children must be nominated by an adult who knows their talent and interest.
