Shoulder PainIts often occurs in old women around 50,
1 Early stage: There is aching pain or stabbing pain in the shoulder.
The injured limb is rigid & unrelaxed. Or the fingers have numbness.
The presence of these symptoms is related with the change of weather and fatigue.
2 Middle stage: The illness has had a long duration. There is sore pain or stabbing pain in the neck or shoulder.
In the case of a sudden occurrence the pain may be severe especially at night, with the upper arm and the elbow involved. The movement is limited.
3 Late stage: There is a vague pain in the shoulder.
There is atrophy of the muscles in the shoulder with one or two sensitive tender points, for instance, under the acromion or in the anterior part of the shoulder.
Both active and passive movement of the shoulder joint are limited,
especially abduction, external rotation and elevation, or there are
accompanying whole arm and fingers have numbness especially at night.
