Bio: Top Ten was born on some boring night in April 2008 as a way to rank my favorite things, and at the same time, put off doing homework. Also, I go to liberal Penn State and quickly tired of reading liberal college media. Because I'm lazy, I recruited my roommate and siblings to also contribute their pro-GOP, pro-Burgh ideas. Here are some quick hits.

Weekly Columnist - Pro Gambler - Sports Correspondent

BIO: So I came to Penn State as a pretty smart kid; I did my homework and studied a lot.  Today, because of Team Florentin, I check my fantasy football team three times a day and write a weekly article for Top Ten.  Since I’m used to writing history papers, my articles are not as “edgy” or “sexy” as either Herb or Dave, but I hope the content remains pure.  As with the rest of the crew, I am highly conservative and hate everything Philadelphia.

As a direct descendant of “one of the most important Latin American writers of the 20th century”1, Jason has lived up to his royal writing genes, despite receiving four F’s on his senior year term paper.  For twenty-six years, Jason’s influence has been felt in the modern areas of transportation, white-guy sports, fine film, gaming of all sorts, and anti-liberal, anti-marxist, anti-save-the-whales activities.  Jason’s vast resume includes appearing in written publications for The Robert Morris University, Penske Logistics, Knoll Inc., Federal Express, some poetry book, and now TOP MAN.  He has also met John “The Professor” Clayton and Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA).

Bio: After an extended blogging tenure with myspace abruptly ended, I took up with Top Ten as an infrequent guest contributor.  Mostly, I don’t agree with the crazy right wing slant of the page, or pretty much anything that Andy or Herb publishes.  Let’s see, I work in downtown Pittsburgh, I want to see more from Gram on the site, I once sold Troy Polamalu some Xbox games, and I’m the only person I know with a mint condition NES that still gets weekly use (I want to get a Nintendo-themed tattoo and not have it pop up online).

Former Weekly Columnist - Current Guest Lecturer - Entertainment Guru

BIO:  As one of the founding members of this website, I had an amusing weekly column that I updated at least once every two or three weeks.  Spurts of articles written in a timely fashion (top ten lists, too) were followed by weeks of blank sections.  It didn’t bother me much, but it bothered the webmaster here who gave me an ultimatum: start writing again or your fired.  My position was that it was enough just to see my handsome mug, but Herb got ornery and brought the hammer down.  Demoted to Special Guest Columnist, I’m left throwing in my two cents when something interesting comes my way.  And for the record, ‘Small Talk With Dave’ was a title I never approved of.  It was forced on me when I took too long coming up with my own.  I wanted ‘Shits & Giggles’ but it got vetoed.

FAVORITE BOOK:   The Indispensable Calvin & Hobbes

FAVORITE MOMENT:   Super Bowl XL/Front Row at Queens of the Stone Age concert (caught pick, setlist)
