I learned how to add a graphic to the top of the pages.
I also learned how to install two horizontal buttons in the same area. One takes you to the File Cabinet where the PDF files are stored. The other returns to the Henthorn Genealogy homepage.
Use the "Search this site" box to help locate PDF files of interest. Enter a surname of interest.
It's always fun to learn something new.

Karen Romick is building a Google Sites website for the Monroe County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society. I'm working with her on the project. Our goal is to use Google Sites to facilitate the sharing of Society information. We needed a What You See Is What You Get page editor.
We both expect to be challenged by the project. Progress has already been made. She posted an update Publications Page and I changed the link on our Ancestry homepage.
Here's the link to the Site that Karen created.
Recently I bought a used copy of the book, Google Sites & Chrome For Dummies. I've been reading the pages that pertain to Google Sites and trying to apply some of the options to the Henthorn Genealogy site.
The TestPage is where I am practicing. Useful genealogy content can be found in the File Cabinet which I reorganized into various groupings which should make it more easy to find things.
I discovered that there is a 100MB limit to each website and that I have used 45% of my available space.
I also added this Website Announcement page.
