Iron Skillet Corn Bread

1/4 cup oil or bacon grease
2 cups corn meal
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups sweet milk or buttermilk

1.  Turn oven to 350°F.
2.  Put grease or oil in skillet and put skillet in oven to heat up as oven preheats.
3.  Mix the corn meal, eggs, and milk together.
4.  Once the oven is preheated, remove skillet and pour a little bit of the grease or oil in the batter.
5.  Mix batter, then pour into heated skillet.
6.  Increase oven temperature to 400°F and bake cornbread for 15-20 minutes.
7.  Enjoy with butter or honey.
