Helen (He) Yang
I am an assistant professor in economics at the Department of Economics and Wang Yanan Institute for Studies of Economics, Xiamen University. I maintain a blog on Chinese economy Dao of Economics.

I received my Ph.D. in Economics at George Mason University in May 2013. The title of my dissertation is Land and Peasants in Late Imperial China: An Economic Analysis. My dissertation won the Graduate Dissertation Fellowship from the Economic History Association in 2011.  

I worked at the World Bank as a consultant with the Development Research Group from Fall 2010 to Spring 2012.
