Didn't see your question? Email me: HelenaDomenic@gmail.com

Q: I want to order a print. How will it arrive at my house?

A: I use US postal service priority mail.  Your print will arrive matted in an 11” x 14” mat, and wrapped in a crystal clear acrylic wrap, easily removed for framing.  Postal charges will vary depending on how many prints you order.  Generally, it will take up to two weeks for shipping and delivery. I will have the capability to handle credit card payments shortly.

Q: I don't live in the US or don't like/can't do online ordering. How can I obtain one of your prints?

Eventually, I will have an online order form. Until then, you can simply write me a letter telling me which prints you want. Each print is $25.00, with a price break of $90 if you order 4 prints at once. Please include a check or money order for the amount of prints you want and mail it all to:

Your order will arrive in the same fashion as an order placed online. (see above)

Q: Can I order an original? What do your originals cost?

A: Originals vary in size, and in price, depending on size and the difficulty I had in painting the piece, as well as how much I am willing to let it go!  Generally, originals range from $250 to $1000. If you are interested in ordering an original, please send me an email at HelenaDomenic@gmail.com

Q: Where can I see more of your work?

A: At my other online galleries, at http://www.enchantedartists.com/helenaanderson and http://www.helenabeana.deviantart.com.

Q: Can I order a print of something not on this page?

A: Again, please email me to check availability and price.

Q: Where do you get your ideas?

A: They come to me in all kinds of forms.  Sometimes, I will have a dream that directs me to create something about a Goddess or some other Being, or I will get an idea from a meditation.  And sometimes, there’s the random idea that just pops into my head. But rarely do I ever think things are truly “random.”

Q: Where did you learn how to paint?

A: I first really started painting watercolors while I was an undergraduate at Kutztown University.  I discovered I had an allergy to many of the solvents involved in oil painting, and turned almost exclusively to watercolor.  Acrylics kind of left me cold, and my love affair with watercolor continues to this day.

Q: What are your influences?

A: As a child, I fell in love with books by Howard Pyle at the local library.  I was particularly in love with his drawings in the King Arthur Books.  As an adult, I am influenced by the Pre-Raphaelites, Brian Froud, Gustav Klimt, Alphonse Mucha, and Alan Lee.  I also have a number of literary influences, including Terri Windling, Charles DeLint, J.R.R. Tolkien and Anne Rice.  Music also has a profound effect on me.  I love listening to Loreena McKennit, Sinead Lohan, the Indigo Girls, Enya, Clannad, Night Noise , to name just a few.

Currently, I am exploring the works of Agnes Pelton, Judy Chicago, Nancy Spero, Kiki Smith, and Leonor Fini. You can see links to all of the artists I admire on my links page.
