This page contains a software developed in C++ to solve the Navier - Stokes equations.
This software uses the MAC (Marker and Cell) method due to Harlow and Welch (1965), using a Finite Difference Method.
This method uses an staggered grid, and the solution of a Poisson equation for the pressure at every time-step.
The reader can have a look at the inside of this method in C. A. J. Fletcher (Computational Techniques for Fluid Dynamics - Second Edition, Sringer).
This software has been used in some of the examples presented in this site for solving a lid drive cavity flow at several Reynolds numbers.
I have also added some example files that the reader can use (and revise) for further understanding of the input data for the software.
