Welcome to my website.

I am an Associate Professor (profesor titular) at UNED (Department of Sociology 2- Social Stratification) in Madrid (Spain). I hold a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Oxford (Nuffield College, UK) and the Juan March Institute (Madrid, Spain).

My research seeks to understand how migrant status determines educational and health outcomes among children of migrants and migrant children. More substantively my work deals with perinatal inequalities, cognitive and non-cognitve outcomes, educational careers and returns to education. I am interested in quantitative techniques and their methodological implications.
