Spicy Basil Oil

Ingredients:
 


4 ounces olive oil

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes

7 large basil leaves

salt (optional)


Directions:

Put all ingredients in a small food processor and liquefy. I used a plastic cup and a hand immersion blender.


Use other herbs as well. The sky is the limit.

 

This yields ½ cup. Voilà. How easy was that! Really!
